The water tower theory has been disproven long ago. For one thing, why would someone climb to the top in a precarious position to shoot, unstably, when you have a safe and stable platform below.
The angles don’t work.
The main issue here is that this guy Crooks was allowed to attempt the shot, then he taken out. They knew he was there, they watched him.
This is totally an inside job.
I would take one more look at the water tower as one possible location for one of the assassins.
The “angles” are that it gives a clear shot in any direction.
One more piece of evidence supporting it is the reaction of one counter-sniper team at the moment of the first shot.
They “flinched” and cowered—reacting as if the first shot was directed at them.
This is like trying to figure out a magician’s trick.
Don’t look at the pretty girl.
Don’t look at the shiny object.
You have to carefully look everywhere else.
Nothing has been “disproven” at this point.
Everything is on the table.
That is the way real investigations work.
If I were an assassin that day—I would be on the water tower.
