What occurred was intentional ignoring of the reported threat, which many people around the rally saw developing. The secret service wanted the gunman to complete his intended assassination, and then they would face all the questions and investigations. Meanwhile, the gunman would have accomplished the mission to get rid of Trump, which democrats sought to do for 8 years. Getting rid of Trump was the intent of the DOJ/FBI/Secret Service, and Biden/Harris and most democrat leaders. Unfortunately for all them, Trump survived the assassination attempt, and they all have to go back to square one.

Yes, but recent facts - depending upon the analysis - tend to support the notion that Crooks was the patsy, ‘the Oswald’ so-to-speak.

Clearly someone in command was running interference for reasons yet to be revealed in Congress, but the evidence for other shooters (plural) has yet to be analyzed beyond spurious Rumble videos...

It is amazing how such a supposed plot with multiple shooters and perceived ‘support’ from within DHS/USSS could fail so badly.

Off the top of my head I can envision a half dozen plots for a movie about this event, and none of them yet rise to the top as most likely to be factual.
