I went to the far-left Barnes and Noble a couple weeks ago looking for that book. None to be had. I went back on last Friday. They had a table load of them right up front.
I went to Barnes and Noble on 18th Street and 5th Avenue about 45 years ago. (I used go pretty often, it was one of the few places open on a Sunday morning back in the day. And you could drive in toll-free and park for free.) It had one of those industrial building cinderblock stairwells. Someone had spray painted “NUKE THE WHALES” on the stairwell wall. A small act of defiance.
That is just terrible to read, that even in 🇺🇸, of all places, where freedom of speech is even enshrined in the Constitution, some firms - so it seems - have jumped on the bandwagon to subvert all opponents of neocommunism.
My comments to Barnes and Noble: that is not Cricket, as the British say, and you really disappoint me🙁
