I've known some bums in my time - they were relatively innocuous individuals compared to Kamala.

Well, of course. As a kid, I knew a great one nicknamed "Cookie." He was an alcoholic who had been trained by a rich housewife to be a gardener--starting with the 100 or so varieties of daffodils she cultivated. He became a phenomenal gardener.
We hired him for several projects on our much more modest place. Talk about a green thumb and a total understanding of plants, as if he read their minds. That was over 50 years ago--God rest his soul.
Maybe it would have been better if Trump had said, "She's a bum--but not a good one."
