The FBI wants to question President Trump to determine whether he was hit by a bullet on July 13 at his Butler, Pennsylvania rally, according to The New York Times.
The FBI is examining bullet fragments found at the Butler rally to determine whether Trumpโs ear was hit by shrapnel, according to The Times.
On July 13 President Trump was grazed in the ear after a 20-year-old gunman named Thomas Matthew Crooks climbed on a roof and took several shots at Trump and rallygoers in Butler.

That is very good and right on the money. It is always a lose or lose with them.
I’d be more inclined to ask ‘why?’. It’s immaterial - there’s plenty more that needs investigation.
I’d be more concerned that they’d try to set things up for more lawfare. E.g. “Trump made inconsistent statements that amount to lying to investigators, which is a crime”.
I’d argue, as a current private citizen, the recommendation should be to not talk to authorities. There is no upside for him. It can only, and would only, be used against him. I have no doubts that they have no positive intention.
‘Evil’ is no longer a strong enough description.

There would be ample evidence at the shooting scene of shrapnel-——
fragments of a bullet containing sharp pieces of metal -——that burst short of impact.
Did the FBI even look for these at the scene.....which they are claiming hit Trump’s ear?
Shrapnel refers to pieces of a bullet that has exploded.
This is common during wars, when many soldiers are treated for shrapnel wounds.....hurt by flying shrapnel โ sharp, dangerous shards of metal from exploding bombs, shells or bullets.
That’s not even a joke, really. Security people (not in government) are serious about the threat to tampering with his plane, and poison. They mentioned someone wearing special gloves, coating them with ricin or similar, and shaking his hand.
Where is the probable cause to even question Trump?

Well you see, perhaps the deepstate Bushie twerp is trying to parce it like this.
1. There is no evidence that Trump was hit by a bullet. Instead he was hit by shrapnel.
2. therefore the shooter was not aiming at Trump but at somone else or the crowd generally.
3. Therefore this was not an attempted assassination and instead his homicide committed against civilians not government officials.
4. Therefore it is a local police matter under state law and therefore there is no standing for the FBI or USSS to be involved in the investigation.
5. Since Trump was not the intended target, and is not a US official anyway, there is no cause for the FBI/DOJ to investigate criminal negligence, conspriracy or any other feeral crime.
6. So you MAGA conspiracy theorists and STFU and let Bush and his cronies enjoy yucking it up over drinks and BBQ.
Specifically - why was Trump the ONLY person to get hit with shrapnel, or a bullet fragment?
At least two of the three spectators hit by gun shots were in the direct line of fire to Trump.
Crooks - the shooter - had to fire ABOVE the top row of bleacher seats, on Trump's right side, to hit Trump.
Crooks waited almost 8 minutes to get off his first shot, probably because bleacher seat spectators were standing in his line fire.
Trump's right ear was directly in the line of fire after Trump suddenly turned his head to the right.
