Is wray and/or the FBI trying to win some kind of award? Isn't this like asking if someone was wounded by a grenade or from its shrapnel? Do they think the shooter was trying to get someone else on stage and Trump got in the way?

So. He was hit by something designated as “shrapnel” and that exonerates the Crooks guy. Therefore the SS agent who shot Crooks should be arrested and charged with murder and Trump as an accessory. An eager project to minimize an assassination attempt. If it is defined as “shrapnel” somehow that is going to make Trump responsible for the death of an innocent man who just wanted a better vantage point on the roof. Wait for it. The shooter’s family will eventually “win” a lawsuit to recover damages for defamation of character or discrimination or something.

The events and procedures kind of suggest an explanation that makes a lot more sense than anything FBI says or will say. The FBI, like other federal agencies, does not tell truth, even about trivial subjects.
