They actually didn’t. Hypothetically, it’s like General Custer in command splitting up his troops into three companies, he Butler local police, the Pennsylvania state police, and the Secret Service with all having zero frequency communication with each other.

You mean the Secret Service certainly. The FBI was not responsible for the protection detail of Donald Trump. Secret Service should have had all comms through their main board, all parties/contracteds etc.
