There is still more digging to be done here imho.

Where I would be digging is into the commanders of that Secret Service detail. And their bosses.

One shooter? Two shooters? It doesn't really matter at all.

The whole event was a setup for an assassination. There were several identifiable people who had to look the other way to make this happen and they certainly did. It is as obvious as this morning sunrise. No more than five people and no fewer than two people.

They can be found. It is tedious, boring, standard police investigation methods that can find them. Five actual perpetrators concealed in a group of 400 suspects. That is an investigator training exercise.

This is likely not the first time the protective detail has been compromised. It is the first time the partner organizations have been able to place an assassin in a good firing position. There will be a pattern of behavior and even expressed sentiment that will identify the immediate perpetrators. Then follow the links to outside organizations.

If anybody is actually looking for them.

Very astute post. The enemy IS within the gates.

You think they are still going to try again since they haven’t gotten caught or are they formulating a new plan? I wouldn’t think they’d risk it again especially now with the increased scrutiny.
