Reed Hastings has come out big for Kamala Harris, cutting the vice president’s 2024 election campaign a check for $7 million.
The Netflix co-founder and executive chairman revealed the massive donation to the tech-focused site The Information on Tuesday. “After the depressing debate, we are in the game again,” Hastings told The Information. He added that it was the largest donation he had ever given to a single candidate.
Earlier this month, in the aftermath of Joe Biden’s disastrous first presidential debate performance, Hastings went public with his frustrations with the president running for re-election. “Biden needs to step aside to allow a vigorous Democratic leader to beat Trump and keep us safe and prosperous,” Hastings told the New York Times.

I also cut out radio talk shows. They just talk doom and gloom. Don’t miss any of it. On FR, or any place on the internet, I can choose what to look and and read.
Get books, learn a hobby, enjoy outdoors, interact with people in person, not via text. Unclutter your lives, you’ll be so much happier.

I only subscribed after I dropped cable so I’d have something to watch. Sadly their stuff is nothing short of junk for the most these days. Since joining Amazon Prime and Hoopla Digital (which is free if you have a library card) it’s becoming less and less interesting.

An Open The Books’ investigation revealed $2 million plus discrepancy in Harris’ allocation of taxpayer dollars. OTB calculated that for VP Harris’s 28 staff listed in the Senate report, the 2021 salaries added up to $2,334,223. But the vice president’s office “got $5 million for 23 full time staff in 2021 and requested over $6 million for 27 full time staff in 2022.
Harris’ office reportedly refused to answer any questions from OTB regarding this inconsistency. OTB said Harris’ office is a “revolving door” where there’s a perpetual staff exodus of key aides heading for the exits.......that might correspond to the $2 million discrepancy in her tax-paid payroll.
Payroll fraud entails serious crimes.......falsifying govt documents, misappropriation of tax dollars, skimming, larceny, check tampering, check kiting, billing fraud, payroll fraud, reimbursement fraud, pension fraud, misuse of tax dollars, theft of tax dollars, ID fraud, Social Security swindles, IRS fraud.

I was going to resubscribe to Netflix to see the JD Vance documentary. I guess I’ll be saving my money and find another way to see it.
