I personally believe that Trump is no saint, but God has chosen him for this moment in US history. He is, I believe, the last opportunity for the US to repent and we are being given that time.
If you have a loose end to tie up in your life, do it. You may not have another chance.
So you are telling me that I have a limited amount of time to ensure that joesbucks acquires a fatal case of pancreatic cancer?
Oh, that's serious.
I agree.
But saintliness isn't at the top of the list of the characteristics we need in a leader. We don't need a sanctimonious nice guy
We are at war with a great evil. Just last Saturday, the Democrats and their Deep State henchmen declared their willingness to blow out the brains of anyone who stands in their way.
Think about that long and hard.
They didn't just want to remove Trump. They (as Ann said) wanted the country and the world to see his brains splattered all over his Deplorable followers.
This was a message, loud and clear.
“”I personally believe that Trump is no saint, but God has chosen him for this moment in US history...””
Throughout all of time, God has had only One Perfect Man to use for His purpose. And that Man was crucified - giving us the chance for eternal life.
If God had to wait for a saint to come along, NOTHING would ever get done!
” I personally believe that Trump is no saint, but God has chosen him for this moment in US history.”
Rahab (”Rahab the harlot”) was no saint, but she was used, and is even in Jesus’ lineage.
That said, this country does not need a saint. The GOP have routinely shot themselves in the foot attempting to nominate and run candidates they feel will pass the smell test across America. THAT is a blueprint for defeat, as has been demonstrated without fail and across the board.
Trump is what he is. And balancing his flaws, (no more and certainly no worse than Liberal politicians), against his attributes comes out a demonstrated win for the US.
It's long past time to abandon the GOP, 8"x10" glossy expectation for Presidential candidates. THAT model died even before Mitt ran for President…HE put the last nail in it.
[[I personally believe that Trump is no saint]]
Pres Trump said in his last rally that Rev Graham told him he shouldn’t swear so much in his rallies. Trump tried to defend his swearing a bit, but essentially agreed with Graham, so he is trying at least to be more saintly it seems.
But yeah we didn’t elect him to be our national preacher, but our president.
“I personally believe that Trump is no saint...”
You are such a perceptive person. Wow!!!
Can you cite another leader in this country, or world, who is a saint? Can you cite any leader, at any time, in world history who was a saint? Why, all of a sudden, is sainthood or perfection required of Trump.
Why do people feel compelled to preface their remarks about Trump by saying, “Trump has his faults” or “Trump has his character flaws”, etc.
Why is it that when someone likes Trump for who he is and what he does as a leader, that person is accused of believing Trump can do no wrong? People who love and adore and vote for adam schiff, for example, are not accused of that.
Do they ever use those words concerning Bill Clinton, Joe Biden, or any of their friends, etc.?
