Up until last Saturday, the media categorically refused to give Trump any “free air time and publicity.” But last Saturday, every camera, every feed, was squarely on Trump’s head.
Interesting if true but I imagine the media's excuse is that they were covering the rally in anticipation of Trump announcing his VP pick.
