The story keeps changing. Now the cover-up artists are saying the cops were inside the two story adjacent building supposedly looking out the windows.
1. Why wasn’t someone on the roof of this two story building where they would have had a view of all the adjoining one story building roofs?
2. Were the cops inside the two story building too busy on their smartphones arranging their dates for Saturday evening?
The story just doesn’t add up.
The dribble of “official” information says that there was a counter-sniper team posted in the second floor, which is perfectly reasonable as far as it goes, gives a nice 360 degree view of the surrounding area, inside the event venue, around the perimeter and out to the other obvious places a rifleman might decide to post up — like the billboard across the road, the water tower, or the adjacent roofs of the glass company they were inside of. They’re being awfully quiet about whether they had enough guys working that problem though: to give continuous coverages, they’d really need two sniper/spotter teams covering their own AOR, so we can probably guess they had only one team there...and maybe only one guy.
Now we’re being told that Crooks was able to hang out on the lower roof for 20-30 minutes, which should have been visible from the second story windows where the counter-sniper team was supposedly posted. That’s ridiculous. Not going to jump to conclusions about what the true story is, but the official “explanation” to date is obvious garbage.
The thing is, the USSS does these really detailed ops plans, and they really brief the locals in on what the plan is though they don’t really share the locations of ALL of the counter-snipers they’ve got posted up. There are the ones you see, and then the one’s you don’t, but everyone else gets a map with little alphanumeric “posts” of where everyone is supposed to be, and what the AOR of every single person is. You’ll have stationary posts, traffic control posts, rovers, and you CHECK IN over the radio when you’re at your post, so everyone knows that the plan is being implemented.
The feds have been trying to blame the local coppers for this unbelievable “lapse”, and that’s obvious nonsense. The question you asked is the right one, and the one we’re all asking: the roof the Crooks picked was in someone’s AOR, so who’s was it? Even if it had been assigned to the county deputies (which the Sheriff disputes), the SS commander on scene would have known that someone was not at his post when they did their roll call.
The whole thing stinks to high heaven.
And we haven’t even started thinking about how this 20 year old loser somehow did his recon, built an IED, got into position and managed to get 8 or so shots off. No way that retard did that all on his own.
