Okay. You have the first three shots then several more shots in rapid succession. Is it my imagination or is the sound from the rapid fire shots higher pitched than the first three? If they are higher pitched, what would cause that?

If they are higher pitched, what would cause that?>>>> I’m no expert but i have heard alot of gunfire. caliber, distance, location and atmosphere effect sounds including firearms. THen there are echos from various surfaces and also in this case the supersonic snaps. I don’t think i have heard any subsonic rounds so i don’t know how they sound.

Different caliber gun, distance and angle in relationship to the location of the microphone, echo, etc.
