Seems like the simpler fix here....have a U-Haul trailer and pick up a dozen doped-up folks each AM....driving them 300 miles out into the desert and just dump them off. After six months, the population with the ‘problem’ would be lessening.

A dozen each AM? That wouldn’t make a dent. I have a feeling they multiply faster than that.
Whenever reading stories like this I feel so good we live in a red state in the middle of nowhere.
Just make sure they don’t leave a trail of used syringes to try and find the way back...
