The Democrat Party began as a party of slave owners.
Democrat support for slavery helped bring about the Civil War.
Post CW, Democrats resisted Reconstruction.
Post Reconstruction, Democrats controlled Southern State and local government. Democrats’ Jim Crow laws used government to enforce apartheid and treated blacks as a population to be “controlled”.
Democrats have NEVER been for freedom. They see themselves as a class of masters. During the Roosevelt years the Democrats courted the votes of blacks via national socialism, a new form of slavery. Look at every Democrat policy: they always support using government to impose their will on an unfree populace. Accusing Trump of fascism is the standard Dem tactic of projecting that they do onto others.
I know. According to the Democrats’ racist One Drop Rule (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/One-drop_rule) I am Black thanks to my great, great, great grandmother on my Mother’s side; and Native American through the Wabash Confederacy on my Father’s side. Truth is, I’m just an all American mutt like most everyone else.
