I don’t care one way or the other. No one votes for a platform. I’ve hearing that crap for 50 years.
Those that get tied up in platforms are usually losers.
Generally that has been true and Trump criticized this in the past as well. With Lara Trump running RNC this was all supposed to be aligned with Trump. And it would be historic to have an in sync platform instead of candidates having to parse how they don’t support certain planks. The current one is an improvement, done to 20 point but they don’t match Trump and from that list to the other 15 pages, they don’t match. The doc was rushed, not edited, and published maybe, as you say, no one cares. But this is Trump’s RNC, run by Lara Trump, and there is no excuse for this.
