The city is tarnishing its own reputation just fine all by itself.
Besides, where's the *alleged* in these supposed incidents? Some victim group is claiming hate crimes and it's treated as if it were written in stone.
There's no integrity left anywhere it seems. Those who stoke racial division and hatred (like this city council) are having a field day.
.
The Bible talks about this, so it’s not unexpected.
Some of the comments here are getting so weird I find myself taking increasingly frequent vacations from FR.
And then there still are some good, insightful comments, too.
My daughter is a medical doctor who has been stationed in Boise for a year taking a fellowship in sports medicine. She called us a couple of months ago to tell us that she was out taking her morning run and some homeless black dude came up behind her and slapped the back of her head. Knocked her down, he ran off, but she was ok physically, but a little mentally shaken. I’ve been after her for years to become proficient in the use of a handgun and learn Taekwondo. With her physicality
and mental discipline I think she could become a 2nd degree black belt in two years. Thank God, her and her husband are coming back to Kansas as I write this.
I don't know about Idaho. Any low density state can be infiltrated and taken over by sufficiently motivated activists. Muslims are motivated. Their diety commands it and they have the Koran Plan to guide them.
But garden variety leftists can do it too and an alliance with the Islamists would be very productive.
That’s the first incident of that nature I’ve heard of anywhere in Idaho. I’m glad she’s OK.
Also, according to Idaho State reporting, the whole of Idaho has only around 2,000 homeless (half of those being unsheltered). That’s, of course, just a few encampments in Portland or other big west coast cities
She must be in or near downtown Boise. That’s where the shelters are, so the homeless congregate nearby.
I must share a humorous anecdote though. She was the on-field doctor for the famous “Potato Bowl” She called us and told her mother and I “They better not call me to go to the ER”. She was also doing ER rotations at the time. BOISE — Freddie Brock rushed for a school-record 276 yards in his first start for Georgia State and quarterback Darren Grainger earned Most Valuable Player honors after accounting for five touchdowns to lead the Panthers to a dominating 45-22 win over Utah State in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl at Albertston’s Stadium. It’s famous you know: Idaho, potatoes and all. I think I’ve shared more about me and my family than I ever have on this forum.
I know what you mean. It’s really a shame. How did this post immediately devolve to islamophobia?
Are trolls intentionally working to destroy FR?
I hope the CdA city council woke virus doesn’t extend to Sandpoint as that’s one of our favorite places.
The californicators started in McCall. Then CDL. CDL has been conquered and they are spreading north to where I am. The cancer can not be cut out now with so many of them. They turn everywhere they go in to another liberal gentrified s hole.
You're in Idaho? Where 'bouts? I had thought about retiring to California, but that was years ago. Then it was Colorado but, that's now California east.
Most recently, I was thinking about Idaho. Coeur D'Alene, particularly. But CDA in particular, and Idaho in general, is getting bad press.
I'm in Oklahoma and it's tolerable except for the weather. Summer is long, as it winter. I'm a winter guy but we don't get snow. And Fall and Spring combined last about a week and a half.
I just noticed this. That poster made some absolutely nonsensical posts and makes me think he’s a mentally unbalanced troll. There’s a lot of that on FR lately. And it doesn’t seem that the owner is supervising it.
