Not just the number of visits, but one per month. Sounds like it is a monthly checkup to evaluate the meds. My grandfather had Parkinsons and he had monthly check ups for exactly that. Any changes in meds, take about 30 days to take effect.

But what’s astounding to me is what a crummy job they’re doing managing it.
With a year to treat him, how can you possibly send him out into the public for a debate right when his meds are wearing out? He was so typically Parkinsonian that evening that you have to wonder what they’re doing with his medication management.
All his motor symptoms made him look so bad that it actually magnified his cognitive issues before a national audience.
If I were his doctor or his consultant I would be so humiliated that I wouldn’t be able to show my face.
