Our culture has been raised to believe that, if you do good things that you’ll get results. But that’s not what the Bible teaches.
Precisely! I still remember the one catechism question and answer that we were made to repeat over and over when I was a kid:
Why did God make me?
God made me to know Him, to love Him, and to serve Him on earth and to be happy with Him forever in Heaven.
