The conservative Heritage Foundation is laying the groundwork and research in case President Joe Biden decides to step down as the Democratic nominee in the aftermath of a widely panned debate performance.

"We are monitoring the calls from across the country for President Biden to step aside, either now or before the election, and have concluded that the process for substitution and withdrawal is very complicated," Executive Director of The Heritage Foundation’s Oversight Project Mike Howell said in a statement.

I think the far left turd rollers’ only chance is to convince Bidenskyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy to promise “reparations” to every Wakandan on the planet who applies for them whether they ever picked cotton or not.

Trump should declare:
“Biden’s the nominee. You’re stuck with him and you’re gonna like it.”

Make them deal with it.

When have laws ever made a difference to these people?

I am so very enjoying watching the liberal media that up until the debate would say nothing was wrong with Slow Joe, now turning on him like sharks in a feeding frenzy.

I hope that Jill Biden and her palace insider guard is happy with not withdrawing earlier, when all who could see that Joe was unfit for office.

I am reminded of Shakespeare's words. “Hoist with his own petard” is a phrase from a speech in William Shakespeare's play Hamlet that has become proverbial. The phrase's meaning is that a bomb-maker is blown off the ground by his own bomb, and indicates an ironic reversal or poetic justice.

Not content to steal elections from Trump, the deep-state is now actively considering stealing an election from Joe Biden.

Biden has been voted the choice of democrats to represent them in the general. Now some people are saying they want to reverse the primaries and appoint somebody they like better.

Democrat voters have known for years of Joe's declining capacity but voted overwhelmingly to proceed down that road.

So, proceed down that road.

Be careful what you ask for…

My concern is that the Dems will keep Biden in the race and replace the VP with the mooch or grewsome, then perform their voter fraud again to get him into his second term.

After the election, use the 25th Amendment to kick him to the curb and get their preferred person in office. The only risk is who will be their new VP.

*After the election, use the 25th Amendment to kick him to the curb and get their preferred person in office.*

That sounds like the least damaging to the party but only if Kamala plays along. The rest of America would have no choice. What good is a SCOTUS appointment or the Calif. governorship 2 years down the road when she’s been kicked to the curb?

Biden isn’t the official nominee yet and won’t be until the convention. I don’t understand how they can be stuck with him already.

Many states may not allow a replacement on the ballot, including important swing states like Georgia, Nevada and Wisconsin, each with their own specific laws. For example, Nevada only allows changes to its ballot up until the fourth Friday of June in the election year.

This makes no sense. He can't even appear on the ballot until after the convention. Right now he's just the presumptive nominee until the convention makes it official.

If the Nevada law really worked this way, all conventions would always have to take place in June. I don't think R and D convention planners both missed that.

The left caused all this destruction by foisting this Potemkin president on our nation. Force them to keep him!

How can you substitute for a candidate that has not even been nominated yet?

This whole discussion makes no sense.

Neither party has nominated anybody.

Today Maria Bartiromo talked about the Russia lie. I wish we would all start saying that instead of “hoax”. Hoax implies a bit of levity when it was an actually a complete lie.

Additionally, anytime someone mentions Hunter Biden being tried and convicted for his gun crime, our side should remind them that that’s not why the FBI had his laptop in 2019 It was for financial crimes which could link him to President Biden IMHO the entire gun trial was just so the left could say how “fair” the judicial system is… Which it is not

He may not be the official nominee of the Democrat Party, but he has accumulated the necessary delegates to guarantee his selection. These same delegates are required by DNC rules to support him on the first ballot at the Convention. The DNC also selects tons of “Super Delegates”. I don’t know if there are enough of these critters to overcome the will of the primary-elected delegates.

The DNC rules will last exactly as long as the Rules Committee decides at the Democratic Convention which has not even happened yet.

There is no there there.
