If you are amazed by the poor logical reasoning skills of the undecided voter, you really do not want to listen to a focus group, either a mock jury process, or a marketing panel, or a political matter. When you hear the way that some people decide consequential issues, you just want to bury your head in your hands. It is incredible that people arrive deep into adulthood with an inclination to make decisions based on emotion rather than fact. But, I give you the People of California vs. Orenthal James Simpson as perhaps the best example of this inability to reason in a sea of facts. Ayyy Carrumba!
Oh l know, l remember i was standing in line to vote in Bush v Clinton. There were two women in front of me. They were deciding while they were in line. One said to the other “l guess l’ll vote for Bill he’s kinda cute”, the other says “yeah ok me too”.
