Hoaxes have long been a part of society. Remember the mermaids from long ago? Found to be half monkey spliced to a fish by taxidermists. Fooled lots of people.

Then there was the Piltdown Man, and The Cardiff Giant. And whom can forget the NY Sun newspaper and their discovery of men with wings on the moon!

There are clearly Hoaxes that take place. The FBI assets do it all the time to blame honest people of doing bad things.
I don't know if this one is a Hoax.
