I don’t think Trump needed to agree to CNN and two CNN Trump-bashers. Biden needs these debates at least as much as Trump does - he has to do something to combat the perception that he’s a senile old man. Trump could have held out for far more favorable debate conditions - the fact that he didn’t makes me wonder who’s managing his campaign.
No need to bother with the debate Biden has nothing to defend can’t hide his guilt of chaos CNN will be doing a ambush job on Trump.
It won’t be a debate, it will be a roast. The questions will focus on Jan 6th, abortion, and Trump’s “felony conviction”.
The summary has likely already been written and distributed to the propaganda outlets. They will marvel at pedo Joe’s energy level and sharpness while claiming Trump seemed confused, disconnected, showing signs of age.
The stupid masses will accept their propaganda.
I was against this the day i heard trump had accepted Bidens terms. This entire thing is a trap and now it is too late to back out. From the where to who to how, everything is completely slanted toward trump. He didn’t have to accept all of their terms.

This current debate situation is far from unique. The Democrats get a favorable debate venue, every time. And the Republicans agree to it, every time.
Why not have four questioners, with the candidates picking two each? Nothing would be fairer. And the country would learn so much more.
But no Republican candidate ever demands such an arrangement. It is a real mystery to me why they don’t.
This will be a repeat of the 2020 debates where Trump had to debate Biden and the moderator. Have no understanding as to why they’d want to do this again.
The Dems have had their way for years on the debate moderators, how about the GOP demanding someone like Tucker Carlson - or a moderator who doesn’t constantly compare Trump to Hitler.

Well, Trump stepped on his own **** . Sometimes it’s best not to put foot in mouth like a big shot cause it’ll come back to bite you in the @$$! So that’s exactly what happened and it’s going to happen in this debate. So Trump’s camp should just stop whining. This is what happens when you hold the winning cards and you give Satan an inch. The most stupid debate where the losing team gets all, ALL and everything in the negotiation debate sham. How stupid can you be?…just asking?

Sure there are a few people out there who are too stupid to realize he will be debating the moderators as well as Biden.
But most people realize the whole set-up is unfair, which may be Trump’s point of doing this.
This is bigger than Trump. The Republican party needs to get its act together.
Stop letting the Democrats exploit the Republican candidate’s ego in order to stage a left-wing controlled debate.
Start representing the Republican voters. They are being ignored in all of these debates.

Trump would have been seen as weak and whiney - he should just lay out what the future looks like under him and also under 4 more years of Biden or whoever they replace him with after re-election

If Biden "fails", then the Democrats will replace him with a better candidate, let's say Gavin Newsom. Then Trump will have a harder time in the general election.

Biden and CNN people will sabotage their own debate. The hate is too firm. Biden sees Trump as an opponent to beat. The CNN people see him as a devil to stop. They will, in their zeal, be their worst enemy. Trump must be “Presidential” and above them all to win. In fact—Trump has already won the debate before the first question has been asked.
I won’t watch the damned thing.
