The US was dependent on Middle East oil on 9/11. The Deep State liked that as they took a percent off the top.

West Texas developed tech that disrupted that.

That’s why they’ve been attacking us ever since.

The petro dollar lasted well past 2001....there was mutual dependency there.

It may be in jeopardy now—but that does not rewrite history.

I think the oil boom which followed the introduction of fracking and made us independent of Middle Eastern oil caused too much disruption to the existing system. Our masters won’t allow it.

Problem is usually the top import countries for us are Canada and Venezuela, etc. not often ME tops, though significant, and Iraq not important at all (oft-repeated by libs et al as the reason for Iraq War, etc).
