Lysenkoism was the belief that the offspring inherited its progenitors adaptations to environment. It was government enforced pseudoscience that exacerbated famines in the Soviet Union, and was used to promote the doctrine of the New Soviet Man, whose parents and grandparents were conditioned to living like drones in an ant farm and whose offspring would be born with their adaptations.
Basically, wokeism is the search for the current incarnation of the New Soviet Person.
