Perfect summation of Neocon policy. But the problem is that while the Neocons and Western leaders were busy reading the seminal work “The End of History”, the rest of the world was not. What the Neocons are now learning is that “The End of History” no longer exists, if it ever did, and the US is simply no longer on the TOP OF THE WORLD, regardless of what they Neocons may want.
The latest is that one of the poorest and most backward people on the planet, the Houthi’s now control the Suez Canal (as they have for 6 months), deciding who can pass through, and who cannot...and the Neocons are HELPLESS to stop them, since they’re wasting all their time and equipment starting wars against China and Russia.
No kidding. Strangely enough, I know a bunch of Ethiopians. For the most part, they are American normies. In fact, most of my family friends send their American Ethipian kids back to the old country to be with family to understand how hard it was for them to get where the are.
