they’re assuming the vp pick will be the ‘28 nominee carrying on MAGA.
Which is a valid concern, but I don’t think DJT can pick anyone as vp who will be able to be the next MAGA leader/canidate.

Only four sitting vice presidents have been elected president and just one in the modern era - Bush 41.
Two former vice presidents have won the presidency, Richard Nixon in 1968 and Joe Biden in 2020.
So it's a waste of time to "groom" the VP to become president.

Agreed. A lot of potential candidates have talked up a big MAGA game, but none of them have the record to back it up.
