Curtis Bashaw is the Republican nominee. He won with 139,048 votes to Christine Serrano Glassner’s 117,600, Justin Murphy’s 34,151, and Albert Harshw’s 14, 150. That’s a total of 314,949, if my math is correct.

Andy Kim got 358,762 votes, with two other candidates receiving 76,500 and 43,135, respectively.

(About 92 percent counted.)

IOW, Kim got more votes than all four Republicans put together.

Memnedez would obviously increase Bashaw’s chances, but I’d say he’s still a significant underdog.

Bashaw is a good candidate. He could win if Menendez splits the vote.

IOW, Kim got more votes than all four Republicans put together.

But if Menendez stays in the race and is not convicted, he will take a significant number of Kim's votes (40 to 60 percent).

The 2020 New Jersey election for senate was 2.5 million votes for Dem and 1.8 million for GOP.

It could be like:

Kim: 1.3 million votes
Menendez: 1.2 million votes
Bashaw: 1.8 million votes
