Everyone seems to be overlooking an important point. What truths have Alex been broadcasting that has motivated the government to such extreme action?
No one is saying what he said is right, they are saying he has a right to say it. While a horrible thing that happened, one person’s really stupid and insensitive comments would be best ignored—why take them seriously.
