While I agree with you on this, I believe one of the buffet items that the jury could have convicted on was federal election law — given the jury instructions, one can assume that since we are making the rules up as we go along (Biden et al) that he could go ahead and pardon anyway.

But i also agree with you if a state crime, Trump should just get on his plane to night and never visit NY State again.
