Their being recognized as a country is NOT them initiating conflict. They have every right to defend themselves when attacked.
What they are occupying now is their ancestral homeland from thousands of years ago.
When the Jews started coming back, it was a wasteland with almost no one living there so the muslims cannot claim it was taken from them.
