Remember the story about Trump having the nuclear codes, etc.? The plan must have been to assassinate Trump and justifiy it with 24/7 media hype of tales of A. Hitler Trump about to provoke a nuclear armageddon, “We intervened and saved the world in the nick of time.” All done in national security, world peace. We were right all along. The threat has been contained.
It’s well-known that Chris Christie proposed Wray for FBI back when Trump still listened to Christie. Wray and Christie go way back, and Wray was Christie’s personal lawyer.
Other Trump advisors also thought Wray a good idea.
