The insane state braying about minimum wage increases is what is behind most of the cost increases. What happens is the worker gets a higher per hourly wage, the owner has to raise prices to cover the added costs and the State pushes people into paying higher income taxes with no benefit gained. It’s a disgusting inflation loop.

A lot of consumers are college kids, commuters and folks on a small income. They are hit hard along with the high cost of fuel. The dims claim they are for the little guy, but their policies are screwing over all the little guys. Too bad too many of them are too stupid to figure that out.
