I’m definitely middle class in Florida. But those numbers are from 2022. I’d predict many fall off the middle class in 2024 numbers all over the country.
I am retired now, but can see from the chart on my state that back in 2012 when I was still working that I was nowhere near the bottom of middle class range. Admittedly, earlier in life I MIGHT have been in range for a year or two. In retirement, I am nowhere near middle class, but due to the ruination of this group by Biden, I am faring better because of taxation I no longer face. I guess it was a good thing to retire so I could survive.
