I happened to hear a few minutes of NPR yesterday. While I turned off ABC-CBS-NBC-MSLSD ETC many, many moons ago, every once in a while I listen to 30 seconds or so of NPR to verify that they are still crap. The announcer was talking about Medicaid and Medicare. They were talking about their reimbursement rates being at the low end of the health care industry market. There is no ‘market’ involved with how they set the reimbursement rates. Like all good Communists / Socialists, they just decide.
