Imagine that this is a reasonable warning. This jackass and his colleagues outright lied to us multiple times about Covid. They own any excess deaths this season.
In my mind, one should be aware of the potential for a pandemic or other natural disaster and be prepared for them the best they can, and the way that they think they should.
The one in four number seems REALLY high though. The terrible 1918 pandemic (which in my mind was the real cause of the end of WWI) the figure in the USA was about 6 in 1,000 died. (Of course the number of dead from the flu back then is just as questionable as from Covid-19).
