I remember when the democRATS were pushing the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA). They stated (lied) that it would always be unpaid time off. Anyone with a brain could see the plan to eventually demand paid FMLA.
The FMLA also said you couldn’t be fired from your job but it said nothing about your employer eliminating your position and creating it back under a different name.
