Honestly, the only serious push back against the marxist project is De Santis in FL. Other than him, do you see any bright spots anywhere?

We’re you not paying attention to President Trump’s first term?

Yes! Florida, Texas, the south, the midwest, the interior west, the rural northeast, the Supreme Court, swing states, minority communities, opposition to the trans agenda, anger towards college campus insanity & inflation, crappy wages, an out of touch government, rampant crime & more than anything- rage about illegals & the purposeful effort by our government to bring them here. So yes- many places! I’m not being a pollyanna- I see the same headlines that you do & of course I get dispirited.

In reality though, the thing scaring me the most is my fear that many on our side are trapped in a self-defeating frame of mind & have been since 2020. I feel like allof t he stuff that our side has been worrying & being negative could be overcome in fairly short order, with some faith, discipline, skill, effort & energy. We have been holding ourselves back, wasting time with infighting & petty stuff. I’m a 2 time Trump voter & I want to see him elected in November. I’ll be there to vote for him again this fall. However, I think we’d be stupid not to acknowledge that while MAGA showed up for Trump in droves, they haven’t proven to be good at running electoral campaigns or strategic planning. It seems like our strategy was: let’s put all our eggs in one basket (Trump) & he will save us & the natiom all by himself. Of course, it’s never worked that way. In order to reverse course, save the country & ourselves, we need to be more active than ever. We need to strategize & turn out in force to elect our officials to every office, branch & level of government, to reinforce voting security & standards & to try & remember that in order to achieve our goals & be successful- we are going to have to court & win over the votes of groups that don’t always agree with us on every issue.

I see people on here daily that are completely clueless about the nuts & bolts of how to win. Our side used to be governed by the establishment right. We figured out that they didn’t really represent our values , but they were ok at campaigning. With MAGA, they represent our values, but do not now how to campaign or work together with others very well. I guarantee you there will be 10 people on here that will read this, blame others & come up with a million different excuses for why the losses occured.

That’s the worrying situation: we have an establishment that became corrupt but was better at campaigning & a MAGA movement that speaks our language but is inept in campaigns. I really hope for a 3rd way 🙄
