Probably to an extent. At the same time it is highlighting the crooked democrats. Also, Trump has been campaigning in NY/NJ, more than he would have done otherwise. He highlighted democrat allowed crime infestation when he visited the Bodega people. That video got a lot of attention. There is a national audience watching this.
But I'm not going to get my hopes up as the long-range weather forecast to November 2024 calls for near-normal overnight temperatures in hell.
