The Democrats have nothing against wealth. The wealthy form the core of their supporters and especially their leadership.
It’s INCOME they don’t like. Especially income in the range $100,000 - $1,000,000.
Because people in those income brackets, most of them, may be “rich” as you two see it, at least from time to time, but they are not WEALTHY.
The goal of a pro-wealth anti-income party is to freeze class structure and to protect the wealthy from strivers who might someday become competition.
And, of course, to keep the war between the strivers and labor going white hot, the fake “red vs blue” political war, to make sure no one pays attention to the man behind the curtain.
