.......same here in Texas...but....do they know HOW to use those guns....we have neighbors who do have guns and have not the faintest idea how they work, what caliber they are, etc.(one of them asked me “what caliber is my gun?” I said “380” and he said, “That’s the caliber?” duh....yeah, that is the caliber of your gun.....amazing...

That’s the reason so many thugs’ gun malfunctions at critical moments. When you hear a story of a criminal’s gun “jamming” thus saving someone from a mortal wound, it’s usually because they have the wrong ammo loaded. Many don’t know the difference in 9mm or .22 ammo. In addition, they don’t know how to clean a firearm or even that it should be cleaned.
