The night cost Israel over $1 billion dollars. That’s a lot of money for one night. The problem with missile defense is the cost of the missiles. There has to be a cheaper way to defend the sky.The ordnance Iran wasted on its humiliatingly unsuccessful attack on Israel is likewise not exactly cheap:

Not cheap but not near a billion either. Israel doesn’t want to have to defend it’s skies like that too often.
