Increasingly, politics are an obvious sign of life values and reasonableness. If a woman believes in pregnant men - RUN! If a man believes in women with dicks - RUN! You aren’t dealing with SANE people - and democrats have all bought in to the insanity.
A single woman who is a Democrat is almost always bat-shit crazy. One might find the 1 in 100 who isn’t, but why bother?
Sorry, but I don’t care what your politics are, if you LEAD your identity as your politics.... then you have issues, seriously deep issues... and I don’t care what side of the political aisle you are on.
I don’t need to ask you a political question to find out if you are a political extremist on either side of the aisle.. its pretty easy to spot with casual conversation.
You are free to decide how to engage with others in a first date scenario however you like, but not a chance in hell if I’m on a first date I’m discussing politics... I don’t need to ask political affiliations to find out where someones values are beliefs are.
Someone who’s defined themselves by their political ideology, are all CRAZY PEOPLE, I don’t care what side of the aisle they are on.
If you define your identity, WHO YOU ARE AS A PERSON, and the main or a primary part of your self identity is your politics, to a point where that’s how you lead in describing yourself to others in any social setting, you have some serious, serious problems... like deep seated emotional and intellectual problems... and I don’t care if you are a conservative or liberal... if that’s how you define yourself as a major part, if not the primary part of your personal “identity”... you really really really should seek professional help.
Couldn't agree more. Indicating your political leanings on a dating site is a self-protective measure for conservatives.
