Duh! I have carried for 30 years and never had to draw my firearm ,but I shoot often and keep my head on a swivel . Everyone should carry and they should drop these stupid restrictions ,that do nothing but endanger the people.
A Permit should not be necessary for one to defend one’s family and one’s self.
The data is even stronger than the article suggests. In Florida, for example, crimes of personal violence began to go down within a year of a system of broad concealed carry permitting being adopted.
Where’s the data showing the breakdown by zipcode/city?
THEN these data become even more compelling.

New Jersey is among the five states with the lowest violent crime rate?
Hm?...I don’t believe it.
“New Jersey is among the five states”
Jersey, like MA and CT have a large wealthier white rural-suburban populations that are VERY well behaved...think Puritans by nature.
Theses states and others also have concentrated pockets of savagery..urban blacks and illegals.....that are the most dangerous areas in the country.
As noted elsewhere, zip code or county analysis shows the real truth.
Blacks and illegals are the problem....nit Billybob and the NRA.
OK....This explains it.
Conceal carry is legal in my area but more and more, I’m seeing holstered guns when I go to the store. Personally, I love my S&W .380 as it fits in my pocket & why advertise. My two cents.
Everyone’s permit is already contained within the 2nd Amendment. Anything else is infringement of the rights God gave us.
