Any ideas? If you spread out, the 2022 images showed tanks pointing outwards, away from the object. The 2024 seem to show a lot less and they're some sort of transport vehicles, not tanks.

Looks like it’s probably some burner’s “desert art”. The California desert is full of strange stuff.

There are a couple of boats close to it. I'm guessing it's liquid. If water, it's got lots of algae and looks quite deep.
Other than that...it looks like a depression in the Californian desert where the Millenium Falcon landed at one point.

It’s a pond, lined with black plastic. Agriculture or aquaculture.

Some irrigation or evaporation project. The black rim is the exposed black liner that was placed under the entire round structure. Algae is at the perimeter of the water. Looks like a good place to dump abandoned boats and trailers. The apex part at first looked like a shadow but I think it was just their ramp to get into and clear out the sand.

Where can you find those images?

It’s a sad remanent of what William Mulholland did to the Owens River valley, when he rerouted all the water he could to make Los Angeles the place it is now.

Good guess; there’s actually two ponds, the other one unlined and dry. Could have been a private water skiing lake or something to irrigate a drug growing patch. The boat indicates it was far more substantial at one time. Maybe they were trying to grow cranberries.

Also, that’s at NSWC China Lake. Look to the west and there’s targets (vehicles, air frames, containers, etc) all over the dry lake bed.

A pond of some sort. Looks like green algae along the edge and there’s a boat nearby. On the other side is the dry bed of a similar pond.

It could be a drain hole for a dam. But it’s now a dried up lake, judging by the boat next to it.
