Tabling by a majority vote is essentially a dismissal without trial. There’s no authority to do that.

I would think so too. That would deny the house their Constitutional legal right to a trial. It completely negates the legal powers of the house to impeach at all.

True. Every time the House has impeached someone the Senate had a trial. The only way that was avoided was if the official resigned first, which Mayorkas hasn’t done.

Chuck Schumer needs to be tried, convicted, and sentenced for giving aid and comfort to the domestic and foreign enemies of the United States.
