Don’t they have tug boats at the ready ,in case this situation arises? It seems to me that the harbor “master” was lackadaisical when it comes to the safety of the bridge and harbor. WTF were they doing?

Why were they so close to the bridge pylon? They had half the river till the next one.

Haven’t heard anything about the harbor “master”, the ship’s captain, or crew.

Don’t they have tug boats at the ready ,in case this situation arises? There are no tug boats currently in existence that can do much with a large container ship. It's like an ant trying to move a buffalo.

Don’t they have tug boats at the ready ,in case this situation arises? No, they do not, and in any case even if a tugboat was shadowing the ship there wasn't enough time between the time the ship lost power and when it hit the bridge for a tugboat to do anything.
