Buck announced last year he would not run for reelection in ‘24, and Boebert has already filed for his CD-04 seat from her CD-03 seat. I think the filing deadline for the primary is only about a week away.

CD-4 Assembly is Apr. 5th, and the Vacancy committee is going to be working in parallel with that, but prior to the June Primary.
Regardless of the views on his voting record, he had a battle with Stage 4 Lymphoma which is/was in remission. If he got a new prognosis..., he wouldn't want to spend his last days in DC!!! I sure as hell wouldn't!
I’m thinking his lymphoma has taken a turn for the worse.
