Yeh, the source could have been any number of things, ie; cigarette butt, welding sparks, safety chain dragging on pavement, catalytic muffler, lightning, power lines being whipped around, somebody grilling, etc, etc. could go on forever…
The main source for the annual wildfires in Costa Rica is broken glass.

We had a fire caused here last summer by “yard men” dragging their trailer on the rim after the tire blew out. They started like four fires over a two-mile swath along the road.
