Sounds good. Wait and see.

Yes sounds good… if it works. But wait until it tries to explain the follow-up regulations that twist the underlying laws beyond all recognition and original intent!

.gov loves to talk about transparency but nothing terrifies them more than real transparency.
This has great potential.

If Grok is not programmed to hide anything, that would be awesome. That might be the AI program I would upload to my phone.

Utter nonsense. How about some respect and accountability? How about treating your constituents like they matter and maybe you want to tell them the truth and keep them informed?
You think you got troubles now? AI isn’t going to fix those problems or make anything better, it’s another wall between human beings, AI will just make things worse.

AI is really good for this kind of thing. We would be better off using AI to replace each member of Congress since AI would actually make sense out of the insane legislation they write for themselves.
AI would be good for analyzing the legislation then looking at members stock trading activity. IMO at some point this will be done retroactively (simple to do) on past laws that have been implemented.
AI is shaking up the legal industry more than any other industry because just like Musk is pointing out it is very good at looking at static data.

allows them to hide a TON of pork Not any more. It will read through tons of crap and extract and summarize the pork in a neat little column.

Thousands of little elements in a thousand-page bill. Summarize it too succinctly and you’ll miss the devil in the details.

Wow, that is the BEST application of AI I’ve heard of.
Of course, Congress doesn’t give a sh1t what we think or discover about their shenanigans. “Oh yeah? Whadda ya gonna do ‘bout it?”

How soon will Congress deploy the Legislatron 3000 AI to hide pork and obfuscate personal favors in laws a thousand times more efficiently than mere human staffers could do?
